According to the Italian publication Corriere dello Sport, Liverpool are considering making a £10million bid for Real Madrid winger Lucas Vazquez. Reportedly, the Reds boss  Jurgen Klopp is a “fan” of Vazquez, a 24-year-old winger who appears to be on his way out of the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu. The Spanish player has one goal and six assists in 19 La Liga appearances this season, limited to just 806 minutes of action in those games.

  • Vazquez is a solid depth player for the Royal club, a product of the academy who understands his role and rarely causes distractions by complaining about his playing time. But Los Blancos tend not to worry about their fringe players all that much, and they have the budget to replace a player like Vazquez.
  • The Merseysiders may be looking to strengthen their forward ranks given Christian Benteke’s faltering first campaign with the club and due to Vazquez’s pace and technical abilities he could be right man for Klopp.
  • The Spaniard is expected to be eager to depart from the Spanish capital, as probably will have a better chance to become the starter at Anfield, than at Real Madrid, as Karim Benzema, Gareth Bale and Cristiano Ronaldo trio reminds untouchable.
  • Still it reminds to be seen if Zinedine Zidane’s side will sell the promising winger for just £10m, who despite of little playing time has had a hand in nine goals this season in all competitions.

Considering these facts, Gib Football Show concludes that the rumours claiming ‘Klopp Prepares an Ideal Signing for Liverpool, £10m Bid for Gareth Bale’s Replacement’ are ‘mostly true’. Mostly true

The site started in October 2009 to a very small audience, then during the 2010 World Cup and the great twitter boom of 2010 things started to pick up pace. There is no real agenda to the site, would like to think it covers a wide range of subject and talking points
