Gibfootballshow is a football website ran by myself…Andrew Gibney.

The site started in October 2009 to a very small audience, then during the 2010 World Cup and the great twitter boom of 2010 things started to pick up pace. There is no real agenda to the site, would like to think it covers a wide range of subject and talking points.

Be sure to check out the Yorkshire Football Weekends section, my adventure to visit loads of different grounds in the Yorkshire area, sample the pies and soak up the local atmosphere and report back to you the good people that read the site.

So far there has been one interview on the site, we were welcomed into the wondrous mind of journalist and writer Iain Macintosh – We hope to bring more interviews to the site during the summer and next season.

In December 2011 Charlie Anderson and me went to a swanky awards ceremony in London as the great guys from Pick Live Footie hostedthe NOPA awards where the show was nominated for “Best Podcast” unfortunately the superb Guardian Football Weekly picked up the award. It was an honour to be nominated though.

Maybe one day there will be content on here again.

Site is awesome, I have toyed with the idea for years for starting an NUFC blog, and I am a season ticket holder at Durham City FC. Look forward to your future work.
